Spoke-Info:

The SPEEDHUB absolutely requires the spokes bow 2.9mm and burr-free heads.
Other spoke bows or spoke head damage can cause damage in the spoke hole of the hub, with possible subsequent fatigue fractures of the spoke flange. Previous spokes had in the aftermarket for at least 20 years always the spoke bow 2.9 mm. Since spoke manufacturers like DT Swiss (2.4mm) and Sapim (2.6mm) have changed this, a spoke with 2.9mm spoke bow is now a special spoke. This must now be ordered from Rohloff.

For this reason we supply Rohloff hubs in general only with suitable spokes incl. Secure-Lock Nipples.
